Description
Description
A U-shaped travel pillow whose core is memory foam rather than loose stuffing, which is the whole difference in how it behaves. Foam compresses under the weight of your head and then holds that shape for as long as you rest on it, instead of squashing flat in the first ten minutes and leaving your head to tip sideways. When you lift off, it recovers its form ready for the next time you settle.
The cover is a silver fox velvet with a short, dense pile that feels soft against the side of the face and the neck, where most travel pillows feel scratchy after an hour. It is offered in black, dark grey, navy blue and pink, so it can look like part of your luggage rather than an obvious travel gadget. The arms of the U close around the front to stop the pillow drifting backwards off your shoulders.
It is made for flights, long car journeys as a passenger, coach trips and the short nap at a desk that gets you through an afternoon. Do not wear it while driving, and take it off before moving around a cabin or vehicle. Supplied as a set, it packs down small enough to clip to a bag. Air the foam out of its cover occasionally and spot clean the velvet rather than machine washing it.

Foam Holds, Stuffing Slumps
The core is memory foam rather than loose stuffing, which is the whole difference. Foam compresses under your head and then holds that shape for as long as you rest on it.
Made For Planes And Desks
It works on a flight, in a passenger seat, or on an office desk for a lunchtime nap, which is where most travel pillows quietly earn their keep.
Neck Support That Lasts The Flight
The U shape cradles the cervical spine so your head stops falling forward every few minutes. The9thHour chose foam because stuffed pillows give up an hour in.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why memory foam rather than a stuffed pillow?
Foam keeps the shape it takes under your head. Loose stuffing shifts out from under the pressure within the first hour, which is when your head starts nodding forward.
Is it firm or soft?
Medium firm with a slow rebound. It gives enough to feel comfortable straight away and still supports the weight of your head properly.
Can I use it outside of travel?
Plenty of people keep one at a desk for a short nap, or use it in a recliner at home. Anywhere your head needs support while sitting upright.
Is the cover removable?
Yes, the outer cover comes off for washing, which matters for something that spends its life against your face and neck.
Does it pack down for a bag?
It compresses to fit into hand luggage and springs back to full shape once released, which is the advantage of a foam core over a rigid one.
